ABOUT US
d9 design studio is a multi-disciplinary design firm, providing consultancy from feasibility studies, development of design briefs, design concept to detail and overall coordination for a wide spectrum of projects – from medium to large scale public, healthcare, institutional, residential and interior design all over India.
We believe that architecture is an experience of space, its function, and the presence of its own in the surrounding environment. We focus on creating spaces that celebrate the essence of being alive and enriching the lives of the user by using those spaces.
We explore ways to engage the customer, the way they move through space and interact with it. We evolve by learning from and valuing the function and pleasure of these experiences in projects.Our goal is to construct spatial orders that facilitate a culture of in-habitation.
Each of the projects is addressed through project teams where our clients and consultants form an active part of the collaborative process towards realising the potential of the design and details.
TEAM
The d9 design studio is an integrated team of professionals from diverse disciplines of Architecture, Interior Design, Furniture design who work closely with the principal on each project, supported by a team of experienced contractors and consultants from healthcare, hospitality, structures, etc.
Founder & Principal Architect:
Darshpreet Kaur Sangha graduated from Dept. of Architecture, Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, Punjab.
She has worked with Living form Architects, Bangalore and Wardfour Healthcare Design Consultants, Bangalore for over 4 years ; later in Chandigarh with Ar.Gautam Gupta .And has handled projects of Healthcare, Commercial, Educational, Industrial, Residential projects all over India including large-scale greenfield projects, renovations, and interior design.
She founded d9 design studio in 2018 with idea of creating aesthetically functional spaces for user and for environment.
We believe that the success of any design project comes from a relationship of trust and collaboration with our clients. It is reflected in the roster of her previous client interaction as a project lead which includes prominent corporates such as the TPG, TVS Group of Companies, Kirloskar Group, Max Healthcare, Motherhood, KIMS,etc.
While designing her main focus is on the functionality of space and it’s interaction with surroundings, the chemistry of natural light with materials.She works precisely with architectural ideas to furniture details while keeping it simple yet creative.

STUDIO
Our studio is a platform for architects, engineers, the client's to collaborate and work under one roof. Our studio has an open workspace model which encourages team members and principal architect to interact with each other and come with design solutions.Each member of the team plays a vital role. We really like to work with people who have a passion for architecture and design. We are open to ideas from everyone. We have open discussion and meetings on various topics which keeps us bound together.
This studio is a platform for everyone who wants to grow with the support of team members.We create architecture awareness among people. We spread knowledge and learn every day from our research.
